    Ustadh Abu Muhammad has a passion for teaching students’ key Islamic concepts that can be easily applied to their spiritual and practical development. His powerful and passionate style of teaching combined with his ability to explain areas of interest break-down and effectively, make him the perfect teacher for this subject.
    Ustadh has been blessed to have studied under Scholars from the widest spectrum of backgrounds including Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Sudan, Pakistan and Egypt. He has run halaqas, marriage counselling, personal development programmes, taught duroos, delivered lectures and khutbahs across the U.K, Europe, USA and Australia.

  • Momena Ali

    Director of Programmes

    Momena Ali is the visionary founder behind EYST Wales, a unique and award-winning organisation that has been making a significant impact since its inception in 2001. Initially conceived by Momena and officially established as EYST in 2005 with a group of young ethnic minority individuals, the organisation has grown organically in response to the needs of the communities it serves.

    Under Momena's leadership, EYST has evolved from supporting ethnic minority youth to providing holistic, culturally sensitive programmes for families and individuals of all ages. These programs cover essential areas such as education, employment, health, community safety, and cohesion, all aimed at helping ethnic minority individuals achieve their fullest potential.

  • Syed Eesa

    Director of Operations

    Born and raised in London, Syed Hiru Eesa is a dedicated professional with a Law degree (LLB) and over 15 years of experience in the charity sector. His extensive work spans from UK street homelessness projects to international humanitarian aid, educational projects, and livelihood development programs.
    Syed is well known for his strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills, which have been instrumental in his various roles. His passion for helping and developing people has led him to collaborate with numerous Islamic scholars to create impactful Islamic talks and courses aimed at enhancing individual character and practical Islamic knowledge.

  • Sulayman Uddin

    Director of Engagement

    With over 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Sulayman has developed a passion for combining fun with helping those in need. Starting as a volunteer, he now serves as a Regional Community Fundraiser for a UK homelessness charity, as well as a youth worker at his local youth centre. Sulayman is well-known for his exceptional skills in community engagement, volunteer management, and youth work, having worked with several established projects in London.

    His unwavering desire to make a positive impact on the world has led him to the Islah Institute, where he is eager to continue his meaningful work. Sulayman's dedication and expertise in fostering community spirit and supporting vulnerable populations make him a valuable asset to any organisation committed to social good.
